Collection: Brown Lorenzo

Lorenzo Bruni - born in Florence - is an independent critic and curator and has coordinated the non-profit space BASE / Progetti per l'arte in Florence since 2000. In 2016 he was a consultant for the new opening of the Pecci Museum in Prato under the direction of Fabio Cavallucci, as well as publishing the book “66/16” on the dematerialization of the work of art from the Sixties to today for Sputnik Edition in English and Italian with Giacomo Prearo Editore. In 2015 he taught New Media Aesthetics at the Academy of Bologna and continued his collaboration with the Academy of Florence, as well as curating the group exhibition with international artists of different generations “Raccontare un Luogo” at the Galleria Astuni in Bologna and the double solo show at the GAM in Palermo with Gianni Pettena and Marc William Zanghi. In the same year the book “Parole, site specific e il mutamento della consapevolezza dell'arte visiva dagli anni Novanta a oggi” was published by Fortino Edition.
